Course Overview
Over the past few years we have had dramatic global changes and shifts from the rise of social media, fashion brands becoming more sustainable, Brexit and recently COVID-19 and uncertainty.
These factors have all had an influence in the future of the fashion industry. Understanding the relationship between consumer psychology, marketing, trend forecasting and data is important. Being aware of why we buy? Who decides that red is going to be the colour for next season? When did wide leg jeans become fashionable? Why do stores place accessories at the till? Why does a change in government have an impact on the fashion industry? Why do people get excited when I see something priced at £4.99 instead of £5.00? Are all questions that this course will answer.
This course will provide a strong foundation and equip you with the knowledge to apply to your career, business or studies.
